These Terms and Conditions govern your use of car rental services provided by 4Drive Praslin. By making a reservation or accepting delivery of a vehicle, you agree to be bound by these terms. Please read them carefully before completing your booking.

These terms constitute a legal agreement between you (the renter) and 4Drive Praslin (the rental company). The renter must be the person named on the reservation and must present valid identification and a driving licence at the time of vehicle collection.
By booking a vehicle through our website, by telephone, or through any other channel, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, you should not proceed with your rental.
4Drive Praslin reserves the right to modify these Terms and Conditions at any time. Any changes will be posted on our website. For existing bookings, the terms in effect at the time of reservation will apply.
The minimum age to rent a vehicle from 4Drive Praslin is 21 years. Drivers must have held a valid full driving licence for at least one year. A young driver surcharge may apply to drivers aged 21-24 years.
You must present a valid national driving licence at the time of collection. The licence must be current, in good condition, and show your photograph. Licences printed in non-Latin alphabets (Arabic, Chinese, Japanese, Cyrillic, etc.) must be accompanied by an International Driving Permit (IDP). We recommend all international visitors obtain an IDP before travelling to the Seychelles.
You must present a valid passport or national identity card at vehicle collection. The name on your identification must match the name on the driving licence and the reservation.
Additional drivers may be added to the rental agreement at the time of collection, subject to meeting all driver requirements. All drivers must be present to sign the agreement and present their documents. An additional driver fee may apply.
Reservations can be made through our website, by email, or by telephone. A reservation is confirmed once you receive a booking confirmation from 4Drive Praslin by email. Please check all details in your confirmation carefully and notify us immediately of any errors.
All reservations are subject to vehicle availability. While we make every effort to provide the exact vehicle category booked, we reserve the right to substitute a vehicle of similar or higher specification if your original choice becomes unavailable.
You may request changes to your reservation (dates, pickup location, vehicle type) by contacting us directly. Amendments are subject to availability and may result in a change to the rental rate. We will confirm any changes in writing.
We offer free cancellation up to 48 hours before your scheduled pickup time. Cancellations made within 48 hours of pickup may be subject to a cancellation fee equivalent to one day's rental. No-show cancellations (failure to collect the vehicle without prior notice) will be charged the full rental amount.
4Drive Praslin does not require a deposit or credit card hold. This is a core feature of our service. You pay only the agreed rental rate plus any optional extras you choose.
We accept payment by debit card (Visa Debit, Mastercard Debit), credit card (Visa, Mastercard), and cash in Euros (EUR), US Dollars (USD), or Seychelles Rupees (SCR). Payment is normally collected at the time of vehicle pickup. Pre-payment may be arranged for certain bookings.
Rental rates are quoted per 24-hour period and include full Collision Damage Waiver (CDW) and Third Party Liability insurance. Rates are subject to change until a reservation is confirmed. The rate confirmed in your booking confirmation is guaranteed.
All vehicles are provided with a full tank of fuel. You are responsible for refueling the vehicle before return. If the vehicle is returned without a full tank, a refueling charge will apply.

All 4Drive Praslin rentals include Collision Damage Waiver (CDW) and Third Party Liability (TPL) insurance at no additional cost. CDW limits your financial liability for damage to the rental vehicle. TPL covers damage to third party property and injury to third parties.
Under the included CDW, you may be liable for an excess (deductible) in the event of an accident or damage to the vehicle. The excess amount varies by vehicle category and will be stated in your rental agreement.
You must report any accident, damage, or theft to 4Drive Praslin and the local police immediately. Failure to report an incident may void your insurance coverage. You must complete an accident report form and obtain a police report for insurance claims.

Vehicles can be collected at Praslin Island Airport (PRI) or delivered to your hotel or accommodation anywhere on Praslin. Airport collection is available during airport operating hours (typically 08:00-17:00). Hotel delivery is available 08:00-18:00 daily.

Please allow 15-20 minutes for the collection process.
You are responsible for inspecting the vehicle before accepting it. Check for any existing damage, scratches, or dents, and ensure these are recorded on the vehicle condition report. Take photographs if you wish. Any damage not recorded at collection may be considered your responsibility at return.
Return the vehicle to the agreed location at the agreed time. The vehicle must be returned with a full tank of fuel, clean, and in the same condition as collected (normal wear and tear excepted). A 4Drive Praslin representative will inspect the vehicle with you and close the rental agreement.
If you need to return the vehicle outside of our normal operating hours, please contact us to arrange key drop-off. You remain responsible for the vehicle until it has been inspected by our staff during business hours.
If the vehicle is more than 2 hours late, a full additional day's rental will be charged. Please contact us if you anticipate being late - we will do our best to accommodate you.
The vehicle may only be used for private purposes on public roads in Praslin, Seychelles. The vehicle may not be:
Only persons named on the rental agreement as authorized drivers may drive the vehicle. Allowing an unauthorized person to drive voids all insurance coverage and you will be liable for all costs arising from any incident.
You must not drive the vehicle while under the influence of alcohol or drugs. The legal blood alcohol limit in Seychelles is 0.08 per cent, but we strongly recommend you do not drink any alcohol if you plan to drive. Driving under the influence voids your insurance.
You must obey all traffic laws and regulations in Seychelles. Remember that traffic drives on the LEFT side of the road. Speed limits on Praslin are typically 40 km/h in villages and up to 65 km/h on open roads. You are responsible for payment of any fines, penalties, or charges arising from traffic violations during your rental.
All occupants must wear seatbelts at all times. Children under 10 years or less than 135 cm in height must be secured in an appropriate child restraint. Child seats are available to rent - please request when booking.
All 4Drive Praslin vehicles are non-smoking.
In the event of a mechanical breakdown, contact 4Drive Praslin immediately. We will arrange repairs or provide a replacement vehicle at no additional cost, provided the breakdown was not caused by misuse or negligence. Do not attempt repairs yourself or authorize repairs without our consent.
If you are involved in an accident:
If the vehicle is stolen, report it to the police immediately and obtain a police report. Contact 4Drive Praslin as soon as possible. You must provide the police report and the vehicle keys (if applicable) for any insurance claim. Loss of keys may indicate negligence and could affect your coverage.
4Drive Praslin collects personal information necessary to process your rental booking and fulfill our legal obligations. This includes your name, contact details, driving licence information, and payment details. We may also collect information about your rental history and preferences.

You are liable for all damage to the vehicle during the rental period, subject to the excess under the CDW insurance. You are also liable for loss of, or damage to, the vehicle if caused by breach of these Terms and Conditions or if the damage is not covered by insurance.
4Drive Praslin's total liability to you under this agreement is limited to the total amount paid for your rental. We are not liable for any indirect, consequential, or special losses, including loss of enjoyment, wasted costs, or travel delays.
You agree to indemnify 4Drive Praslin against any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your use of the vehicle, including third party claims, unless caused solely by our negligence.
These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of the Republic of Seychelles. Any disputes arising from this agreement will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Seychelles.
In the event of any dispute, we encourage you to contact 4Drive Praslin first to try to resolve the matter amicably. If we cannot reach a resolution, either party may refer the dispute to the appropriate court in Seychelles.
If any provision of these Terms and Conditions is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect.
